Dave Ellis Blues

Dave Ellis is a blues rock guitarist and vocalist who has dedicated his life to creating and performing authentic blues music. With every note he plays and every lyric he sings, Dave brings the rich history and emotional depth of the blues to life. Whether he's performing on stage or recording in the studio, Dave's passion for the blues shines through in every aspect of his music. Playing a raw and unique blend of self penned Texas, Mississippi Delta slide and Chicago Blues on his battle scared Fender and electric Resonator, Guitarist and smoke fuelled vocalist Dave Ellis is acknowledged for his authenticity and keeping the Real Blues spirit alive. Four decades of live touring have built a reputation as a showman and true journeyman travelling Blues musician.

Dave Ellis first started playing guitar in the late 1970’s on hearing Jimi Hendrix and soon after chose the life of an independent traveling musician.

Since those early days ​Diamond Bottleneck Slide endorsed Dave Ellis has toured, performed and taught guitar throughout the U.K to Chicago Illinois, and eastern European countries in recent years including Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus, Russia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Belgium, Germany, Spain and most recently Almaty middle Asia in Kazakhstan. 

All concerts are greatly considered to be an honour and accolade to receive by Ellis, who continues to deliver stunning live performances each night as if it were his last, to audiences of thousands at festivals, or intimate small club venues on tour throughout England, Europe, and ever expanding new territories.

Currently enjoying living a quiet life back in the English countryside when not out on the road, Dave teaches guitar, is writing new songs and preparing for the next new musical adventure in concert.
